Blue Sea & the waves: Rock Beach, Pondicherry

I thought of reaching the beach early so I could shoot the sunset over the sea. I saw the orange sun through the car’s windows and was tensed. When we reached there, I was searching for the sun setting in the sea… But didn’t see the sun or its traces (colored clouds). I wondered… then understood… It was the Bay of Bengal. Reflections

A view from the Chimmony Earthen Dam, reflecting the pristine forest on the opposite river bank. The presence of mist is what gives the dim effect. Preserve Our Monuments

A beautiful view through one of the pigeon holes, at Queen’s Bath, Hampi. The garden with its trees and shade, offers a serene atmosphere for the visitors to rejuvenate in the awesome surroundings of this fort, which was once part of the kingdom of Krishnadevaraya, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. But unfortunately, what attracts our attention is the scribbling on the walls. It would have taken years to build such massive structures, and monuments. Why then do we destroy […]
